CLINICAL COMMUNITY
Needing support in your clinical work?
Feeling stuck or burned out?
We deeply value our clinical community in Las Cruces and are committed to supporting those doing vital clinical work here. In addition to offering therapy services locally, we strive to be a resource for clinicians by providing supervision, consultation groups, and workshops tailored to your needs.
However, our reach extends far beyond Las Cruces. As the Academy continues to grow, we’re excited to host a range of events, from local workshops to national conferences like the Geek Play Therapy Summit and our upcoming Disneyland event. Whether you’re nearby or across the country, we’re dedicated to providing meaningful opportunities for professional development and connection.
If you have a clinical need that isn’t being met, we want to hear from you! We’re always looking to expand our offerings and host events that cover a variety of topics. Your feedback is invaluable as we continue to serve both our local community and clinicians nationwide.
A New Hope Therapy Center, our sister organization and partner for trainings and workshops, is an Approved CE Provider for the Association for Play Therapy™ (APT™) - Approved Provider, and our President Maria Laquerre-Diego is an Approved Provider for the New Mexico Counseling and Therapy Practice Board.
"A New Hope has truly been the driving force behind my ability to contribute to the mental health needs of the community of Las Cruces, New Mexico. I can honestly say I’m not sure where I would be without the kind, compassionate, and authentic guidance I received from the Maria Laquerre- Diego, Lisa McVann, and Jesscia Cauthorne, who helped lay the foundation for the work that I am proud to do today."
— Katie Giesler, LPCC
