Continuing Education Provider Policy
As CE Providers for the Association of Play Therapy (APT) and the NM Counseling and Therapy Practice Board (via A New Hope Therapy Center), we are held to guidelines. No partial CEs for trainings will be offered. You must attend the full course in order to receive the CE certificate. For live webinars, your cameras must be on during the entire course, except for breaks and lunch. It is expected that you are present with limited distractions. If you need accommodations, please reach out with enough time for us to offer reasonable accommodations. Your attendance and engagement will be monitored by our team. If you are not communicating about their camera not being on for longer than 10 minutes during the training, they may be removed from the course and not receive a CE certificate. If a participant is gone for longer than 10 minutes they may be disenrolled from the course and not receive the CE certificate. For more info about these guidelines go to:

Grievance Policy

If a problem arises, please report it to the team as soon as possible. Complaints regarding a faculty member, speaker, or supervisor should be addressed to Maria Laquerre-Diego, LMFT, RPT-S, President of A New Hope Academy at maria@anewhopeacademy.org.
COVID-19 Vaccinations
A New Hope Academy events in 2023 will continue to follow local and venue requirements. As information pertaining to COVID-19 requirements is ever evolving, we will continue to update as needed as policies change.
New Mexico authorities currently do not require proof of vaccination for indoor venues. Visitors are encouraged to check with individual establishments about COVID-19 protocols.
All ANHTC employees and volunteers working at hosted events have been vaccinated.
Face-Coverings: We will continue to follow CDC, WHO and state guidelines.
On February 17th, New Mexico dropped its mask mandate for most indoor locations, including hotels, restaurants and conference centers. Masks are welcome and encouraged for all attendees, especially our vulnerable populations.
Hand Sanitizer Stations: We will have hand washing facilities and/or sanitizing systems easily accessible to everyone throughout the event.
No Contact Policy: To assist in minimizing potential physical contact, elbow bumps are a great alternative to handshakes and hugs. We will space out seating as much as possible.
Health and Safety Signage: Signage will be placed to remind all attendees to social distance and frequently wash and sanitize their hands.
Screening: If you have felt symptoms of COVID or other illnesses, or test positive for contagious illnesses including the Flu and COVID, please do not attend as scheduled. Reach out to A New Hope for support regarding cancellations due to illness.
Waiver of Lawsuit/Release of Liability:
